I know myself and many of you are looking forward to Julio Teheran's outing tonight - so instead of his season outlook thread getting littered with play by play - we can do it in here.

So far he looks like the same guy I've seen the last couple years. I'm not getting this new hyped 2 seam FB, and his CB is still pretty lackluster.

DeJesus' double was a line drive Heyward should of caught - it hit him in the forearm and he didn't dive. Doesn't surprise me it was called a hit - seems a miracle has to occur for an error to be called on a OF'er.

He's way to geeked up - BB's Soriano on 4 pitches, now a ripped RBI single by Nate Schierholtz.

First inning 1IP, 2H, 1ER, 1BB...

I'll say one thing - I just flipped over to Rays/Indians - Teheran's first inning may not have been good, but thank god it wasn't what Trevor Bauer has going.

That's textbook ATL pitching. Outside corner at the knees leading to weak ground balls…

The two seamer is getting some good sink now - he was over throwing in the first inning - looks very effective around 88-89.

Wasn't Julio striking people out left and right during spring training? You'd think he'd have at least 1 k a third of the way through the game.

For a guy that is inducing as many GB's as Teheran tonight - I gotta say, defensively this ATL infield is the freakin goof troop.

I really like Teheran's approach - he really has the 2 seamer working well. However, if you're in search of K's - I don't care what he did in spring - his approach isn't gonna lead to high K totals.
