This guy outscored every other WR in the league for the last 8 games last season.  Will he continue this next season?  He's obviously top 5 but were would you rank him among all the other WR's?  I'm considering him in the early 2nd round as the 2nd WR off the board after Calvin.

I'd put him as my 4th overall behind Tron, Marshall, and Green.

Yall didn't hear? He's going to be the first WR to have a 2000/20 season.

As of now, he is my #2 overall WR.  He should be in line for a monster season.  It sounds as if he has finally matured and understands what it means to be an NFL pro.  An upgrade of the DAL OL thru the draft (Warmack or Cooper?) and/or FA (Winston) will only help.

He would be in that small group just under Calvin.  Guys like Green, Julio, Dez, etc.  How I would rank that tier, will need to see where we are come August, but I would say its a coin flip type situation between some of those guys, something like potential playoff schedule which we will know on Thursday could be a tie breaker.

The difference is you will have to draft him around two rounds earlier this year. I'll stick to Green, Marshall or Jones thank you.

So? His production his much higher than in previous years.

Yeah, a steeper price tag I'm not gonna pay when I can get Marshall or Green for the same price tag.I'm not using a second rounder on a guy who has put it together for a half a season when there are equally talented guys with proven track records.

Outside of Marshall, who are you talking about? The past two years have been pretty equal for Green, Demaryius, Julio, and Dez. And I wouldn't say any of them have a more proven track record than Dez....

2011:
Dez - 63/928/9 in 15 games
Green - 65/1057/7 in 15 games
Julio - 54/959/8 in 13 games
Demaryius - 32/551/4 in 11 games with Timmy Tebow

2012:
Dez - 92/1382/12
Green - 97/1350/11
Julio - 79/1198/10
Demaryius - 94/1434/10

Demaryius and Julio are competing with other guys for touches hurting their value in my opinion. That leaves Marshall, Green, and Dez. I personally like Marshall 2nd in ppr leagues. He's a stud. After breaking it down, it's pretty close for Green and Dez so I would lean towards Dez who has the better QB. Just my thoughts on the situation.

A healthy Miles Austin (I know, that's like seeing a unicorn) and Jason Witten also demand a lot of touches.  Dez looks set for a monster year regardless though.  Unstoppable one on one.

I respect that, but for me I'll take Marshall, Green, Thomas, And Jones ahead of him. Just my personal preference. I want to see him out together a full season before I commit a second round pick on him.

This. I have Bryant 5th in my WR rankings. Could he finish 2nd this season, absolutely...but he could also put up 50/750/8 in the first 8 games then shoot someone at a nightclub.

Last year the Cowboys set some rules for Dez ad he had to have approvals for going to clubs, staying out past his curfew, and had at least one security member with him at all times to keep him out of trouble.

I'm not sure if this program is still in place though. I'm not too worried. But I understand why some would be.

LOL

Can't argue with the LOL. We LOL'd last year when it was first announced . . . about a month after he hit his mom in the face with a fitted cap . . . but there may be something to this. There may not, too. But that curfew, etc., sure didn't hurt.

Some history: No one has ripped this player harder than me.

http://forums.rotowo...pic=285129&st=0

But low and behold, when he fell to me at 6.3 in a 10 team yahoo "pro" league last year, I couldn't lay off. Still, I tried to deal him at every turn for a decent RB for the entire first half of the season. But all anyone tried to do was rip me off, so I held on.

By the end, I was crushing everyone because of him. Took everyone's money. And as I watched, I believe I saw the player--and possibly the man--maturing right before my eyes. I saw Romo literally coaching him all the way to the line of scrimmage in a mid-season game. He appeared to be telling Dez exactly what to do right up to the line . . . Dez was like a student who just needs his teacher to re-explain the instructions more than for the other kids. And from what I could tell, he humbly nodded and tried his damnest--not the Dez I'd come to expect and rip on. By the end of the year he was playing hurt. Sometimes very hurt. Allegedly risking finger amputation?

He gained my respect. And if I knew I was going to get that guy again, I might well take him in front of Julio, Marshall, Green, and Thomas . . . but if that curfew set the stage for his development . . . then what will happen without it? I don't know, but . . .

Like with so many other players that are going to go in the first 3 rounds, I need a promising summer. With him it reaches beyond the field.

We are dealing with a guy who hit his mom in the face with a fitted.
