"Stephen doesn't have overpowering stuff but he was able to go out and not change his game once he got to the big leagues. He went up and gave the Dodgers some quality starts," Bundy said. "He's not going to light up the radar gun, but he knows how to pitch." But apparently Fife has been lighting up the gun, as Mattingly told reporters after the game in Tucson Thursday, "Last time he hit 96, 95 mph. We're seeing velocity we didn't see before." That's one way to keep yourself on radar.

"He who knows much about others is learned, but he who understands himself is more intelligent. He who controls others may be powerful, but he who has mastered himself is mightier still."
Wouldn't touch this guy unless I was in an 18+ team league.

i kind of wish the dodgers didn't pay lilly, capuano and harang(traded) a combined 25 million this year and just started fife. he has been very solid most games he pitches. i like him more than magill too. looked good today
I was hoping to see a few "Dodger" posts on hear too! I picked him up this weekend and he's in my starting lineup for the week. I haven't had a chance to see him pitch but all the #'s and research says he's worth a shot as a starter! Now, it seems that I'm in some kind of "funk" as to where a P starts going down hill extremely fast as soon as he signs with my team so y'all have been warned LOL!!!
