Gotta like the addition of Eifarted to the team as another red zone option for Dalton.  He has one of the best young WR in the game with AJ, a promising 2nd year WR in Sanu, 2 really solid TE, and an underrated slot WR in Hawkins.  Dalton has a great shot to eclipse 4,000 yd and 30 TD this season.  Plus he's going to probably be ranked closer to 20 than 10 in most QB rankings.  This is another opportunity to reiterate how deep the QB position is this season.

For sure, there are no excuses for Dalton - he has not just 1, but 3 red-zone weapons in Green, Sanu & Eifert (assuming Eifert takes Gresham's looks away).   Time for progression to the 2nd tier (doubt he will ever be top tier, but at least into the top 5-8 range is possible just because of the O weapons with any skill development or improvement in reads).  Failure to progress won't be because of lack of weapons, it's on him at this stage...

Upgraded TE & RB now with Bernard in the fold.   Really, it's Dalton's time to move up, all on him now.

Better fantasy QB then real life QB. Easily think this could be a 26-30 TD year for him and near 4,000 yards. No one will look for him on draft day. Addition of Eiffert, Bernard and of course the supporting cast is going to make Bengals one of the top offenses in football this year

So he's like this year's Ryan Fitzpatrick then?  The guy that lights it up for several weeks, but ultimately still isn't Brady / Brees / Rodgers / Stafford?

Fitzpatrick was an animal with the right matchup, especially if you were lucky enough for that matchup to fall on your starting QB's bye week.

Watching Hard Knocks from last night… I can't draft a fantasy quarterback who wears a rubber ring.

All things considered, Dalton is the guy I'll be drafting in almost every league I can. He's available several rounds later than Romo, Eli Manning, and Russell Wilson and legitimately could end up eclipsing all of them. Safe bet for 4000 yards and 25 touchdowns, big upside if everything starts clicking for the Bengals.

The drop after the first 12 QBs isn't big on Dalton and it allows you to grab a few more quality players at other positions. Plus upside is there to have 30 TD year after adding Gio and Eifert. Can see Gio taking a little dump pass and taking it home.

What is the scoop on Dalton. Is it time to sell high or do you think he can keep this up?

After this game, I'm ready to put Dalton in the Russell Wilson category of guys I'm comfortable starting against anyone if I have to.    Bottom line is the Bengals have a pretty good offense, and it's not like they've had a cake schedule either.

Dalton did this last year. He has these bursts where he looks like he is finally taking advantage of the fantastic offensive talent around him. Then he goes back to reminding everyone he is Andy Dalton.

He belongs on teams and I could see him started in the right situations, but don't be surprised if he rolls out a dud in what seemed like a great matchup.

scooped him for Stafford's bye this week ... @Miami, on a Thursday.  why is that scenario screaming "DUD" to me?

maybe Green goes batsh!t this week ... hopong to see at least 250/2 outta Big Red.

Has the Red Rocket arrived? Someone traded Jimmy Graham for him in a 2QB league I'm in.

He's put together a string of QB1 type games right now.  Unfortunately the Thursday night road game is upon him, so it will be interesting to see if there is a drop off for this week.

That is an awful trade.

Dalton has taken advantage of the soft schedule and the possible emergence of some new targets. However, the road gets tougher from here on out. He will certainly have some solid performances, but don't expect him to be some sort of monster ROS.

Dalton has a big upside with a lot of talent around him. Two great athletic tight ends and AJ Green. Marvin Jones appears to be in control of that WR2 position on that team with the ability to make plays when in single coverage. Certainly a safe play if you are comfortable with 15 points on average. Don't forget that the Bengals have some good running backs they can rely on. Another QB I like off of waivers is Jake Locker. With a limited running game, this guy can produce. He's a mobile QB who is capable of getting you those rushing TDs and seems like he's always passing for over 250 yards. He has a matchup against the Rams this week. With Kaepernick on a bye, I'll be starting Locker. If you need some fantasy advice, follow and tweet me @matthew0608

QB: Kaepernick, Locker
RB: Stacy, L. Bell, Andre Brown, Ellington, Ivory, Tate
WR: D. Jackson, V. Jackson, Boykin, R. White
TE: Reed
DST: Seahawks
K: Dan Bailey

How are people viewing him for Thursday night?  I know Thursday games always suck but I got Manning on bye and I won't be rolling out Vick and Dalton is the best option on the WW.  Should he continue his hot streak?

He should be okay. I'd expect 200+ yards and 2 TDs. Servicable, but don't expect 4 or 5 TDs.
