No thread on this guy who has been raking. He seems to get fairly consistent abs especially with Cespedes and Young as guys who are constantly banged up.

Thinking about picking him up as my 3rd OF spot is a black hole until Hart returns.

Thoughts on Smith going forward?

He is extremely useful as a platoon 4th OF. He bats #2 in a lineup that has scored the most runs of any team in the AL thus far. He is also an OBP machine and should continue to score a lot of runs while holding a decent average.

Don't know how long this will last but I'm riding him. He hits in the heart of a lineup that puts up some numbers. Doesn't always play against lefthanders so he has more value in daily leagues but I use him on one weekly league because 5 days of him have been better than 6 or 7 of some other players.

Lately he's been batting third.

He'll likely give average power, ok average, and little to no steals. I'm just riding him on his hot streak until he slumps or Jason Heyward comes back. Whichever comes first :P

He is extremely useful in daily leagues where you can platoon him and he may see some more playing time with Coco Crisp now on the DL.
