cain got bailed out by crawford on that first pitch
"The base paths belonged to me, the runner. The rules gave me the right. I always went into a bag full speed, feet first. I had sharp spikes on my shoes. If the baseman stood where he had no business to be and got hurt, that was his fault."

if crawford hadn't made that awesome play on crawford... it would be a man on first and 2nd with 1 out right now.

box score of that 1st inning looks pretty clean for cain, but he got hit hard. he was very lucky to escape without giving up any runs.

balls fly off Cain, that ball hit by Eithier is gone in a lot of other ballparks.  He looks pretty bad...

What a load of BS. And I hate John Kruk. With a passion. "Marco Scutaro is one of the best two spot hitters in all of baseball."

Shut up Kruk. Dude has a .600 OPS.

Now he'll brag about it because he beats out an IF single.

Nothing has been hit hard off of Ryu. Absolutely nothing.

Both ESPN and MLB gameday trax have that pitch as a strike.

the national broadcasts always seem to have the worst commentary. The fox broadcasts are just brutal.

Don't care about Kruk, but Danny S. calls a really good game.

It's alright. I still prefer Vasgersian. Kruk ruins any broadcast. He's God awful.
