A manager in my league (who is very easy to trade with, btw) is facing 2B issues with Utley hurting and going for an MRI soon.  I'd like to offer him Rutledge to make room on my roster while possibly taking even a slight upgrade elsewhere.

The players he has on his team that interest me include Lester, Peavy, Fister, and Scutaro (to an extent - lots of eligibility and is hitting well).  I was thinking of offering Rutledge and Iwakuma for Lester but I'm not sure Lester is better than Iwakuma - Iwakuma finally had a bad start and who knows if that was just a blip, or if he'll simply fall back to earth soon.

Are Lester or Peavy or Fister worth offering Rutledge/Iwakuma for?  Should I simply drop Rutledge?  Other position players the manager has include Swisher and Melky, notably (I guess haha)

I would try Rutledge/iwakuma for any if those pitchers.ill take the proven guy over the hot guy most of the time.now Rutledge might not have huge trade value given the news he will be platooning.but I would take any of those SP over iwakuma.

Any of them the best choice?  Lester has looked great all season, Peavy has looked good but a little less so lately, and Fister feels like the biggest question mark.

I would go Lester, peavy, fister.only thing that scares me about peavy is I hold my breathe that he's going to get hurt everytime he pitches.

Just throwing this out there.but if you wait to trade Rutledge between waiting to hear back and waiting for the trade to process you might very well miss out on gausman.might be worth to cut bait and grab the guy you want in gausman.
