Hey guys, I've been offered Pavalec for my Fleury and wondering if if this selling low on Fleury. He stunk it up these playoffs before getting pulled but is still a decent goalie on a powerhouse team.

I am currently in the middle of a rebuild so I won't be contending for at least another two years and Pavs is three years younger than Fleury. Do you see Pavs getting better and is this a good trade?

No you could probably do better. Pavelec isn't going to get better so you know what you're getting...is it better than Fleury? I don't know about that. I think once regular season comes around Fleury will be back as #1 guy although playing fewer games than he usually does. But I'd still rather have Pitts #1a guy than Wpg's #1 guy. Fleury might be better trade bait a month or so into new season.

I'd hold on to Fleury. Right now, he's simply had a down year. You also have to take in to account the teams. Pavelec may be younger but Fleury plays for the better team. I think Fleury will bounce back but might lose a few starts next year.
