Looks like he is going to challenge Leshoure for back up RB duties and we know he's dangerous out of the backfield. Seems like a solid late round flier to me.

I liked him more than LeShoure last year. Seemed like he did more with less touches.
LeShoure - 215 carries for 798 yards; 34 receptions for 214 yards
Bell - 82 carries for 414 yards; 52 receptions for 485 yards

Bell's ypc was over a yard higher.

$50 12 Team PPR, 8-1

QB: Philip Rivers

RB1: Arian Foster

RB2: Ahmad Bradshaw

WR1: Megatron

WR2: Jordy Nelson

W/R/T: Jeremy Maclin

TE: Rob Gronkowski

Bench: Adrian Peterson, Josh Gordon, Shane Vereen, Jeremy Hill, Travis Kelce, Martavis Bryant

He would need some injuries to be super relevant but when you have Leshoure and Bush ahead of you that's not out of the realm of possibility.

I tell you what, I'd rather draft this guy in the 14-15th round rather than someone like Daniel Thomas or Jonathan Dwyer.

I wonder if in the end, Mikel Leshoure's role stays the same regardless and Joique becomes Bush's real handcuff since he's the same type of player.

Of course that would require the Lions to evaluate talent and whatnot...
Drafted Josh Gordon 9/2/14
WW Claimed Josh Gordon 9/3/14 (after he was drafted in 6th round and dropped)

I agree 100% with Jason. Leshoure's role will generally remain the same, with a handful of carries going to Bush. Bush will usurp Bell's role entirely. Bell will essentially be irrelevant.

Bell will have a role this year. He's had a great offseason, played well last year, and Schwartz is really impressed with him. Not sure where the touches will come from (between bush and leshoure), but he'll get some.

If Leshoure isn't more effective another year removed from his Achilles injury then only a Chan Gaileyan level of stupidity will keep Bell from becoming the 2.

Anyone else like Bell as Bush's handcuff besides me? Feel like he came on strong at the end of last season and has impressed in camp. While Leshoure has been .... Leshoure

Yes absolutely. I will be cuffing Bush with Bell. TBH I question why they even went and got Bush in the first place because I think Bell did an outstanding job last year, even between the tackles. I've read Bell lingered around the Lions facilities all off season working out and studying his play book.

They got Bush because he's an obvious upgrade. I like bell just as much as the next guy but there is no comparing him to bush in terms of difference making and talent. He can and most likely will learn about from Bush that'll help him out.

I also cuffed Bush with him as he can step in and play a similar role if something was to happen. LeShoure is a bum and can be forgotten.

I was about to ask how the hell Bush went so late in PPR but I forgot to account for the 20-25 QBs that went prior to him in a 2QB format.

Currently RB2 on the Lions...anybody see him as developing into a flier pick late? I like him off the wire, but I think that his worth will increase as the season goes on. Owens just went down with a knee injury, which should increase his value.

Bell is a top handcuff IMO, nothing more than that. If you're a Bush owner its in your best interest to have him on your bench

Only in deep PPR formats. He is a very good receiver.
