Couldn't find any threads on this guy (in this forum). He seems to be hitting very well since called up for the injured Gyorko, but is the clock about to strike midnight for Forsythe? Do the Padres have a starting position for him come Tuesday?

I really like Forsythe. Gyorko will get the 2B job back when he is healthy but Forsythe will be a super utility guy that will still get maybe 3 starts a week. Before his injuries in spring they were trying him out at a lot of positions to get him ready the role. Fantasy wise he will only be helpful in deep leagues but his position eligibility will be a plus.

I was looking around on this guy too! I've had him in my lineup the last couple of weeks as I'm a Weeks/Utley owner. Logan's been really on fire lately eh! I read too that they'll play him in the OF when Gyorko gets back but I never read anything that guessed on how many starts he'll get a week...I was hoping for more than 3 as mentioned above but 3's the number imo! In my weekly league I think I'm going to play him one more week at least as I do think that he's so hot right now, the Padres will keep him in the lineup til he cools off....

Yeah, he can play some OF but it would work out nice for the near future if he played some SS....I'll have to see where he might get some starts before I leave him in for the week!!!

Nice game so far tonight, 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and 2 runs and an RBI.

I wonder if he can get enough starts in the OF (or anywhere else) after Gyorko returns to make him worthwile from a fantasy standpoint. He has played a few games over at 3B, but Headley is there... Baseball Reference profile says he has played 6 games at SS since he got to San Diego in 2011.

Ugh. Just read Gyorko exited his rehab game with groin tightness.
Maybe Forsythe will stick around at 2B for a while after all...
