I just read he is taking over juan nicasio's spot in the rotation. What's the deal with this kid? He has been solid in the minors this year. It's tough having a pitcher in Colorado but is he worth a shot? Will he stick around? I guess that depends on how he does.

Anyone think he is worth a start tomorrow vs SF? What do you think his season upside is?

I think he will be a decent source of Ks this year, and I would probably take the chance on him tomorrow if the start was in San Fran... but Pom struggles to get through a lot of innings which will hurt his W total, and I think his WHIP will be fairly high this year. I still like his talent, and I'm hoping he can put it all together.
