Signed today as a special assistant in the White Sox front office.  Guess that's officially the end of a great career.

Favorite player of all time for me. Basically because he joined the Phillies right around when I became a huge baseball fan, and helped guide us out of the cellar and set up a lot of what made the 2007-2011 run of the phillies so special!

Guy was an under appreciated beast and reportedly one of the nicest guys in the game.  I really enjoyed watching him hit.
