Who is this guy? He was always mediocre in the minor leagues, but after shutting down the Orioles bats last week and then doing the same tonight to the Red Sox, is he a good add in deeper leagues?

Might be an okay add in an AL-only league. Appears to have limited upside.

Looks like a cross between Joe Saunders and Wandy Rodriguez to me from looking at the highlights.

Oh my friends, my friends, forgive me

That I live and you are gone.

There's a grief that can't be spoken.

There's a pain goes on and on.

I was wondering about him. How'd he shut down 2 of the best team-bats? and even before that he was flawless in his limited relief work as well.

Problem with this guy is that when he has another bad outing, it will be catastrophic. Like an 8 ER in 2 innings kind of disaster.

I think he's just on a fortuitous run because teams don't have him scouted. I had him going this week in a deep weekly league for his two starts, but I would be terrified to stream him much longer.

Any further thoughts? Thinking about double starting him next week with $1k on the line...

He's a nice AL only option but I wouldn't risk $1k on him in a two start week. He's probably going to implode in at least one of those two starts.

8 shutout innings against the Mariners. That's 4 QS in 5 starts. He doesn't have overpowering stuff but he has good control.

Baseball and football are very different games. In a way, both of them are easy. Football is easy if you're crazy as hell. Baseball is easy if you've got patience. They'd both be easier for me if I were a little more crazy and a little more patient. ~ Bo Jackson

I watched every pitch he threw this week. Good command and a nice change up. He might be a decent number 4 or 5 starter going forward (reality more than fantasy).

Another QS. Too bad his offense couldn't give him any run support.

Huge underdog, on the road against a sneaky offense that still has playoff aspirations. My opponent has him so just trying to justify the fact that he SHOULD get blown up! But I know he won't.. <_<

well at least this horrible Astros defense is raising his pitch count.

He's entered my 2014 radar after rooting against him so hard. He looks good
