I did not see a thread on him for this year. I think he will be a very solid WR3 this year with the upside to produce like a WR2. I think there is some solid value for him.

I'm excited to find out what he can do in their new offense, he seems like a good fit. I like him more than any other point in his career definitely. He should be alright.

Desean Jackson by far.

I too like him more than any point in his career. I could see him pushing 80 receptions this year.

I love Jackson this year, he did just fall to me a little in a draft last night, but I think we will see some solid numbers with Maclin out and Kelly in that offense.

Jackson is definitely going to outproduce where he is going in drafts.  He has always been a boom or bust week to week but with Maclin out, he may have his most consistent season yet.
1st Fantasy pick ever Thurman Thomas #3 Overall.  Should have taken Jerry Rice.

I consider DeSean Jackson one of my primary picks for bounceback player of the year. Ever since Vick came to Philly it seems like these two guys have been feeding off one another. Whenever Vick has been out or struggling, DJax has seemed deflated. Like a lost puppy for a lack of a better analogy.

I think Vick being named starter, Vick showing up well in the preseason and also stating that he's found his love for the game again are all things that speak directly in favor of DeSean Jackson. This is not a numbers and statistics exercise, this is about seeing DJax getting his groove back and looking comfortable and confident again. It might come across as wild speculation on my part, and in part that's definitely true. But I have a strong feeling that DeSean Jackson will thrive thanks to the shot in the arm that this offense and Vick has received with Chip Kelly as the new HC.

Where is the hype for D. Jax? He is all Philly has in the passing game. DeSean has a huge ceiling this year IMO.

I am really liking him this year.  With Maclin out he is the only option in the passing game.  I think Vick as the starter really helps him as well, as Vick has a big arm and isnt afraid to air it out in coverage.  I think Chip is good for this guy as well, he seems creative and I think he will want to find ways to get the ball in Jacksons hands.

Yeah I agree I think he has his best season to date. They have a mobile QB, stud RB with a legit backup, suitable TE and other receiving options in cooper and avant. No maclin should mean Jackson is the true #1 and I'm excited to see more targets combined with his deep threat capability.

I'm a Giants fan, but as a Jackson owner I am actually excited to see how Kelly uses Jackson (and McCoy too)

Yeah if Jackson can't get it done this year, then he was just never destined to.

Exactly, if he doesn't have a good year this year then there is really no need to draft him ever again.

I have a friend that has a friend that is friend's with Desean (true story, my friend's friend went to high school with Desean and we live near Long Beach, CA). He mentioned that his friend said that Desean is extremely motivated in this new offense and is ready to have a huge season (we probably all knew that from the news). However, it was more *real confirmation* that DJax is ready to explode!

I'm thinking 80/1,200/10 for this stud muffin.

I'm more curious about his consistency. If he can manage to be a reliable fantasy starter week in and week out he'll be a great value pick in a draft.
