Hi all,
I've been playing fantasy for quite a while, but would really love to start a dynasty style league.

The main thing is to be able to carry over salaries and have caps.

I've tried to do it manually on ESPN, but it is too much work, and managers sometimes go over their caps etc, because you can't set them.

Any sites you can direct me to?

IMO, the best way to do it is to have a separate forum for your league with player salaries and team rosters in separate threads. Also the commish should have an excel spreadsheet where he can easily update team rosters and check if someone hasn't gone over the salary cap.

We have been running a dynasty league on CBSSportline for over a decade and its great. The site is very user friendly. We have a commissioner who manages most of the league issues, trades, etc. and then each team can also manually manage their own team during the year, i.e. FA pickups, roster moves etc. We have a cap for the auction and salaries/players carry over year to year. Let me know if you have any specific questions about it.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I've attempted the spreadsheet Musli, but I am the commissioner and I just don't have enough time to do it sadly.

How do you guys do your caps/salaries and the like epic? Is it done via the website? That's all I'm really after, a site that can automatically do these things, instead of manually :)

I agree with League Pass, Fantrax has this tool. Too bad, they offered a lifetime membership last june in which they will give free premium league each season (30 teams and some categories).

Fantrax equals to something like $3 a team for a premium league and it can have salaries.
