Supposedly the #2 in SF.

Anything to see here or are you better off with a Marlon Brown or Tedd Ginn?

I'd rather have Patton.

Im not a huge fan, but hes probably the only WR on the team whos a deep ball threat, FWIW...

hes only a placeholder for now either way. if patton or baldwin start to beast, he probably gets buried in the depth chart mid-season
he might return kickoffs if you are in KR league, but even that is questionable

the fact hes been injured and havent played any preseason games is also bad

I wouldnt bother with him. I wouldnt bother with any WR from the 49ers besides Boldin, unless youre in dynasty (then patton and baldwin are the grabs), to be fair

Thanks for the response.  What's your opinion on AJ Jenkins.  I know he's no longer a niner but you got to follow him last year.

I think he was overdrafted and I applaud Baalke/Harbaugh for admitting their mistake early and getting rid of him.
I never liked the pick and never saw what was so good about him. he doesnt do anything well. he runs a fast 40 in a straight line, but not on the football field in pads

I also heard rumors that some coaches and players were a bit annoyed with his attitude and not taking stuff serious. and he always seemed to mess up on the field, not knowing where to line up, fumbling balls and slipping.

he might be out of the league in a couple of years imo.

could be he needed a scenery change going to a place with less pressure on him, being #1 pick on a superbowl team with not many good WRs.

List as the WR2 for week 1. Anything to see here?

I play in a Ret Yd league so he's just been added to my Watch List.

Not at all. All tho Patton is my WR3. But If you acually watch tape of this cat is like watching 60 minutes on NBC.... This guy straight out blows.

What's your point? That doesnt change anything. I have nothing against this kid, I am just stating my opinion and I wont even go further to telling you why this guy sucks. The only reason why hes starting over Patton is because hes not a rookie, but I can guarantee you that Patton will see the field more than this kid. Book it.

That doesn't always mean his opinion is any less valuable. We usually draft the people we are high on or see something good in.  I've seen plenty of ignorant opinions from people who "don't have a horse"

Marlon Moore is listed as the #2 right now and he did start the last 3 pre-season games opposite Boldin.
I'd say Patton and Moore are both more valuable to own at the present time than K.Williams.

right, so him having patton, a rookie WR2 on a run-first team who isnt even likely to start, as his WR3, tells me hes extremely high on patton and extremely low on competition.
thus, a horse in the race. unless hes in a 16+ teamer or something.

Kyle is going to be the #2 WR starting on Sunday, per CSN Bay Area. Better pickup than Quinton Patton at this point?

CSN Bay Area expects Kyle Williams to open the season as the 49ers' No. 2 wide receiver.

If so, he'd do it over Marlon Moore, who started all four preseason games, and rookie Quinton Patton, who figures to be the No. 3 receiver. "He's had an extremely good camp," coach Jim Harbaugh said of Williams. "(He's) getting better, getting faster. I think he's come back stronger and faster than he was before." Jon Baldwin and Chris Harper will likely be scratched on game day.

12 team - Yahoo .5 PPR league
QB: Romo
WR: Andre Johnson / Josh Gordon / Antonio Brown
RB: Alfred Morris / Matt Forte
RB/WR FLEX: Andre Brown
TE: Witten
K: Crosby
DEF: BAL

BN: Nate Burleson / Michael Bush / Marvin Lewis / Joique Bell / Josh McCown / CLE

As good as the Niners are as a team, I just dont view them as a team that is going to get a lot of consistent looks and production to their WR2's on down.  Maybe once Crabtree comes back and the No.1 is Boldin, but this team is gonna run with Gore and other RB's (James, etc) Kaepernick is gonna get his on the ground and when they throw I see Vernon Davis and Boldin...then maybe you get some match ups or game plans or a few big plays where their WR2-4 gets in the act.  Patton has the most upside of the bunch, but I wouldnt expect much consistent fantasy wise from him this year.
Seems everybody's jogging or heavy into health s?&t, don't tell me that I otta get rolfed, cause I love Cajun martinis and playing afternoon golf-JB from we are the people are parents warned us about

People compared Patton to Reggie Wayne during the preseason. I'm buying.

This guy?  Probably not going to be fantasy relevant.
