This kid looks excellent.

They're pretty much running a pro-style offense so I'm impressed with this kid so far. The coach benched his top receiver in the first half and his O-line is not doing him any favors either but he's still played very well.

Very promising rookie QB.

Like any Freshman starter he has a lot of room for growth, but you have to be impressed with his completion percentage thus far. Has to be a confident kid to stay with Penn State after all that happened in the past year +.

He had an impressive drive to tie the game at the end of regulation. Made it look easy. His receivers let him down in OT, but I'd definitely say he has a bright future. It'll be interesting to see if he continues to grow and improve and becomes a top pick in a few years, or if he levels off like a Logan Thomas/Landry Jones type and just stop developing.
