[Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said Monday that quarterback Michael Vick is "day-to-day" with a hamstring injury, and Kelly refused to commit to Nick Foles as Sunday's starter against the Buccaneers in Tampa.

On Sunday, Kelly had said the hobbled Vick would remain the No. 1 quarterback even if he couldn't play, but on Monday Kelly said a permanent switch could be made "if someone comes in and puts on an unbelievable show."]

The Eagles are the only team I watch every week for sure. I'll have my eyes on him. The Eagles play different with Nicky Santoro in the game. A lot less read option and Shady is actually a threat in the receiving game more ala Jamal Charles and he won't run as much as usual. Nicky can move in the pocket but he obviously isn't going to get you the wonderful running points that Vick can.

However he can get the ball out of hands fast..he dosen't need to the guy to wide open like Vick does. He can make some nice throws if protected.

I have him winning the game. His last win as a starter actually was against these Bucs last year and here he is again...though this time with Darelle Revis menacing.

I think its an Eagles win...but not a great enough performance to knock your socks off. 2tds is a high possibility for him. With that said I would believe Vick would be back for sure in week 7. Chip loves his "read option"

The Bucs Defense has been playing really good since the beginning of the season. They have held their opponents to 18,16,23,13 points respectively and have lost by less that 3 points in 3 out of the first 4 games. Their offense has obviously been the problem which led to the Freeman drama. I think Nick Foles is a downgrade from Mike Vick because he doesn't his athletic ability which keeps defenses guessing. I think Foles will struggle against the Tampa Bay D and will throw a few picks or three and out. Tampa Bay is coming off their bye week which also doesn't help the cause since they are fresh and optimistic in turning around their season with a new starting QB. Eagles defense is one of the worst in the league which will help Glennon establish confidence and keep them on the field more often which limits upside potential fantasy points for the Eagles. For these reasons I would avoid starting Foles regardless of who wins.

They're better options on the wire probably..safer ones.

But Bucs Schmucks.....they're 0-what?

Foles is no slouch...Chip will move the ball on them better than Glennon will on us. We don't allow big games for backs so he'll have to beat us.

And yes it's us...anywhere the Eagles are concerned

I like what I see out of this kid going back to his college days. Picking him up and playing him over Eli this week if he gets the start.

Yeah it seems like the Bucs always play well against Brees. I would be liking the Bucs D a lot more this week if not for a novice QB of their own starting. Glennon could give 'em nice field position.

Any chance that Vick gets the starting job back as soon as next week? Was planning on using Foles just as bye-week replacement for Ryan this week, but may hold onto him longer if Hekeeps his job.

Ugh & sure enough he was claimed last Tuesday's waiver period in the one league I reaaaaally could've used him in.

Anyways, he looked great out there today. He was pretty solid last year as well. This kid is legit.

At this point who knows what Chip is thinking, but IMO I think Foles is the future of this team. The Eagles might as well shop Vick while he still has some trade value (Bills).

I'm spending a high waiver claim on him to fill in for Luck in Week 8. And depending how things shake out, he could be useful down the road.

I failed on not getting Foles last week. He's my #1 claim this week. Hope it goes thru. Welcome to the NFL's first legit QB controversy.

Ugh. Dropped him because up until Saturday, all the news coming out on Vick was basically saying that Vick COULD play, and was even a full participant in practice on Friday. Decided I didn't want to waste a valuable roster spot on a one-week rental. Then, on Saturday after my waiver claim processes to drop him, Vick comes out saying it will be a long road back to health, and all the news since then has been negative. SMH
