Was he on the field last week against the Jets?  Weird... he had no receptions on no targets.

Jerricho Cotchery caught seven passes for 96 yards with three touchdowns in Sunday's Week 9 loss at New England.
Advice: Working the slot well, Cotchery made a number of tough catches over the middle and got one of his touchdowns on a true one-handed grab. Don't overreact. In the seven games prior to this, Cotchery was averaging 3.1 catches for 46.8 yards and had two scores. And Markus Wheaton (finger) could be back as soon as next week. Cotchery is not a recommended add.

3 touchdowns... facing the worst pass defense in the league next week... not a recommended add?

I wouldn't recommend spending a high-waiver pick on the guy, but add implies that you can grab him for free, in which case it'd be foolish not to in leagues with deeper benches (or where your team is already terrible).

He went off yesterday but the two weeks before that he had 90 yards on 8 targets combined. So when are you actually going to start him? In a PPR he could be a nice WR4 with some upside because he always seems to catch 3/4 passes.

I doubt he'll have any more 3 TD games, but seems like in that offense he's good for like 1-2 TDs a month. I would project that ROS. So I don't know where that puts him but certainly worth an add in deeper leagues. A decent guy to plug in if you're in a bind with byes or injuries. If Sanders or Brown were to get hurt he could become an every week WR2-3.

I love the typical Rotoworld blurb hyperbole...but this kind of game from him does look like fool's gold.

C'mon man.

As to be on topic - If Sanders is out this week I think Cotchery does OK as a WR3 since Haden will be covering AB.

7 TDs?  Hmm.  Good point.  However, I'm fairly certain Cleveland doesn't play in a dome and it's usually pretty cold over there.

I'm just curious to see what everyone thinks on these 3 guys.  FWIW, the AC forums blow.  Way more insight and useful info here on these threads.

What is the news on Sanders?  Nevermind:
Coach Mike Tomlin confirmed that Emmanuel Sanders (foot) is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Browns.
Advice: Tomlin said Sanders will be limited in practice this week, but should be fine to suit up come Sunday. It's a decent spot for the No. 2 wideout as Joe Haden figures to see a lot of time on NFL reception leader Antonio Brown. Consider Sanders a borderline WR3.

The bolded is true. Off topic : I never understood the whole WHIR concept. Why would I want advice on what to do with my team from some guy who was just asking for advice on his team from anyone who would listen.

On topic : I actually like Cotchery as a WR3 any week, even with a healthy Sanders. He will throw up duds(what WR3 doesn't) but he sprinkles in some nice games too and has a nose for the end zone.

Agree.  I'll post up on the AC forum just to see opinions.  I usually already have an idea of who I'm playing before I ask on the AC.  It's just useful sometimes to see what others think.

Cotchery is for sure an every week WR3.  Ben loves him in the red zone.  You'll for sure have the duds but definitely serviceable if you're think at WR.  He's too TD dependent for me though.

In a DEEP, desperation move I'm giving Jerricho the start (along with Streater ugh) - - BYES

Jerricho is an extremely underrated "real life" WR - still pissed the Jets let him go - and he looks to be Ben's favorite target down in the redzone. He's scored double-digit points in 5 of 10 (PPR) games....12-7-7-22-0-6-5-31-10-12, under three receptions just twice.

7 TDs and 5 TDs in the last three games is nothing to sneeze at, especially with Haden on Brown and Sanders a bit banged up this week.

Wishful, but logical thinking for a decent week if you need him.
