I kept him for $7 and eventually released him, he has been a free agent for months in my league. I still believe in his talent though. Maybe next year.

Well, a miserable couple months anyway - for the 166 ABs I had him he put up a slash line of 157/203/229 with no steals... I'll keep him on my radar for next year though - I don't think he'll be forgotten about, but he will fall a ways... That's if I decide I can trust him again after that stretch.

This is the 2nd super hot streak of his this year. When he's right, he's one of the better hitters in the AL. That's saying a lot for a guy who's only 21. The potential is still there, and while it was overall a rough season, it would be nice to see him finish hot and gain some confidence for next year. Should end up with double digit homers and 30+ doubles, so at the least he gave a little pop this season.

it seemed like more and more pitchers were throwing him curveballs and sliders and he couldnt hit them well.
has he adjusted or have pitchers been throwing him fastballs.  anyone seen any analysis on that?
