Taj has been tearing it up in the preseason.  He may have some late round value since he will backup both Boozer and Noah who does tend to miss a couple of games throughout the season.

Was hoping someone would start a thread on him. He has looked awesome so far, he's added muscle, he's hitting the mid range jumper, and his post skills seem to have improved too. There is little to no hesitation in his game right now and his confidence looks sky high.

I think he'll play about 25 minutes(15 at PF and about 10 or so at C) and I could see him even taking the starting job from Boozer if the bulls go through a rough stretch at any point. He's got stand alone value in 12 teamers just because of his blocks.

So Good yet still so underrated. The bulls should have amnestied Boozer long ago.

What makes this year particularly interesting is that Gibson's contract extension kicks in this year. The Bulls are notoriously cheap and I'm not sure whether they'd be able to swallow paying Gibson upwards of $7.5M to be a 25-minute bench player. It'll be interesting how they tackle this situation.

They are def penny pinchers which makes it a bit more shocking they havent amnestied boozer for more tax flexibility.

Holy crap.  Boozer is on contract to be paid 15 mill each for this year and the next.  Can the Bulls amnesty Boozer with 2 year left on his contract?

Consistency is the issue with Gibson. If he keeps this up into the reg season, he will be a force.

Say bye-bye to Boozer.

Noah seems like a go to start the year...this guy has definite flier potential anyway. Would've been nice to have a few games this week with starter's minutes since his games come on the days with less games.

This season's Favors? Talentwise can start in a couple of other teams but being blocked for playing time by highly paid veterans.

Much more favorable situation because he is backing up an amnesty candidate and an injury prone candidate.

i am keeping an closw eye on this dude this year, I think down the year he might start, Boozer is a weak defender and jacks up many shots

They might have Mirotic coming in next year...not sure how that will impact Taj, even if they amnesty Boozer.

I can't find a season outlook thread on Kaman...I think he'll get minutes in LA but the upside of Taj is very appealing...

I have been holding Taj all season just waiting for a Noah or Boozer trade or injury,. I know he can be great if he gets starter's minutes. Is it time to give up, though? Oops, sorry this is so small. you do not need glasses.

These kind of questions belong to the Assistant Coach Help Forum. I still know why others don't get this.

He has been killing it ever since D Rose went out.. but hes shot more than 50% in each game so not sure what to make of it when he gets a normal game..

Just a pick up in 14+ or even 12?

Joakim Owners would be wise to consider rostering him considering his recent health and generally how he looks this season..
