GV is in town with a new head coach. What do you predict his value to be?

I wouldn't mess with him, GV will take most of the minutes and I don't think the Kings are going to play the two PG set much seeing Thornton and BM are going to take up all the SG minutes.

Not sure why the Kings either don't see what they really have in thomas. If not trade him.

Got him with the 109 pick, good bad? Is this guy even going to start?

Greveis is the starter but even in limited minutes isaiah is great.  Just dont understand why they wouldn't give him the keys,  especially with his rapport with Cousins.

Is there something we dont see that this coaches see to indicate that hes not a starting caliber point guard in the NBA?

It's political, kings media have been hammering for a pass first pg.

I think either way you have to expect somewhat of a timeshare with him and GV. Maybe also with GV so more willing to pass and not good at scoring, that they put Thomas as their 6th man to not only set people up, but also score. I don't worry about the starting status as much as minutes. In the second lineup he may actually get better stats.

How come no one's talking about IT more? I see huge potential for this guy once the Kings realize he blows Vasquez out of the water. Even if he doesn't start I can see him getting 1.5+ 3PTM, 16 PTS, 1.5+ STL, with great FT% and a little of everything else.

If he doesn't at least get the minutes he got last year the Kings would be wasting so much talent.

1.5+ 3s and stls? Can he do that in 25-28mpg? That's like Chalmers' production.

He's averaging 0.8 steals in 26 minutes career-wise, why would that change this season?

I agree with the kings decision to start Vasquez. Thomas is a better scorer but scoring is only one aspect of one half of the court.

That would mean your implying Vasquez is a defensive wizard, the reincarnation of Gary Payton.........but he is not.  Granted he avg more assists per game but then again he wasnt getting yanked around with his minutes.  Vasquez doesn't defend or shoot well, he turns the ball over as much as Thomas.

Thomas given the oppurtunity will thrive as he showed at the tail end of last season and this preseason while Vasquez was nursing his surgically repaired ankle.  If anything they should both start with Vasquez as the 2.

Got him at 118. If he gets 30+ minutes, we are looking at 17-6-3 with elite FT and 2+ 3s.

I think even in a time share he might post something like 14 pt 4 assist  1.8 threes and 1 steal.  His game is very very fantasy friendly and all he needs is 25 minutes a game.

Thomas = Jamal Crawford (almost identical fantasy wise)

Btw, just go on a Sac messageboard. The whole team is built around Boogie. Vasquez is a proven Calderon-like PG and the new nerds in the Kings FO are all about being more efficient. IT is the perfect Microwave off the bench.

As long as he can post 15pts, 4-5 Ast ill take that anyday. I dnt think Vazquez is a better teamplayer as Thomas is, but will see

Pretty solid start tonight. I see him have the same production as Jarret Jack did have in GSW and now as a Cavalier.
