Against Tampa Bay Zach Ertz saw 62% of the snaps and six targets, both were his most on the season. He only caught three targets for 13 yards, but it is still significant, especially since Brent Celek saw just one target and his percentage of snaps drop to its lowest on the season.

and

Zach Ertz is now listed as a co-starter with Brent Celek on the Eagles official depth chart.
It's yet another sign that the Eagles are handing Ertz a bigger role. The second-round rookie played on a season-high 42 snaps against the Bucs and saw six targets. As a true "move" tight end, Ertz belongs on watch lists in deeper 12-team leagues. Oct 15 - 12:05 PM

Having watched every Eagles game this season, Ertz is on the field more and more, and Celek's had several bad drops. Might be worth a flyer this week if the Eagles-Cowboys game turns into a shoot out, and you're scrounging around for a Graham replacement.

I almost beat you to starting an Ertz thread. Was surprised noone started one even prior to the season. He was a very high pick and has the pedigree. I like how they are finally phasing him in...not fantasy material yet...but I can see TE2 as the season progress. Late round keeper maybe because Celek won't be here that's for sure.

In dynasty/keeper leagues I like his value even more. Celek will more than likely not be an eagle next year allowing him to play snaps as a more traditional TE. The other thing I like about him is he was Kelly's second round pick (his first skill position player) and he has all the athletic ability in the world to play a "joker" role.
Winning gold is simple, you just have to be the best in the world at it.

His snap count has gone up every week so far (30% in week 1 versus 62% last week vs. TB), and James Casey has been nothing but a bust all year. Outside of DJax, there's no clear #2 receiving weapon on this offense. Riley Cooper is slow, and so is Jason Avant. Someone needs to step up and make opposing defenses pay for giving safety help on Jackson, and as he picks up more and more of the offense, Ertz might be the one to do it.

Someone has a team named " It Ertz When Eifert " in one of my leagues - makes me chuckle.

As for Ertz so far this season, he's my TE in a dynasty PPR, and he scores about 4 points a week.

Maybe he'll get more targets with Foles instead of Vick...

Best new team name I've seen this season.

That's pretty bold...though a whole lot of squad's are hoping you are right. I want an EAGLE bad with their high scoring offense but they're aren't many you can choose from with trust. A nice TE would be a totally different look for them and could spell serious strides for the team. I speak as a fan of the squad but still...I'm patiently reserved about Ertz. I see him continuing to slowly get more snaps and by late season--possibly waiverable in a 10-12 team league.

I want to add him now. Eagles offense is perfect offense for a rookie TE because Chip is going to put him in favorable match ups right away. He is just now getting the snaps and the Foles era is starting. He was the 2nd round pick and I think the training wheels are coming off.

I'm an eagles homer, but this guy on limited snaps has had multiple drops each and every game it seems like. My fellow fan buddy and I have a running joke where whenever he makes a dumb play I text him that he's a bust.

I know he was awesome in college and looks good on paper, but I have seen a raw rookie on the field, and haven't seen many flashes.

TE's do well against AZ

Can't tell which of Ertz or Celek is in line to benefit.
