This year more than any I have been noticing so many mistakes with these Rotoworld blurbs. Simple, easy mistakes that can be avoided. On top of that I love seeing them promote Trent as a RB1 up until last week. Hype someone as a TE1 one day then 2 days later he's barely a TE2.

So here is the thread we all need. The Rotoworld Blurb Thread.

Post mistakes, laugh at the morons writing them, discuss their opinions and thoughts with yours.

The Best one now.

Stafford found Calvin Johnson for 14 catches, 329 yards and a touchdown. Megatron's yardage total was just seven off the single-game record. Stafford's first pick came on a tipped pass off Megatron's hands, while the second was a brutal toss to Cowboys MLB Sean Lee, who jumped the route. Stafford never stopped throwing, however, while his rushing score was of the "harrowing" variety with 0:12 left. After Johnson got tackled at the one-yard line, Stafford hurried his team to the line to spike the ball, but instead dove over the pile for the game-winning score. Not even his own linemen appeared to know what he was going to do. Now averaging 327 passing yards per game, Stafford gets the Bears' falling-off defense in Week 9.

Nope, Stafford has a bye week Week 9 but thanks for trying.

Everybody's known Rotoworld's love for CJ Spiller, Trent Richardson and Lamar Miller by now. But don't forget Tom Brady. Silva had quite a crush on Tom Terrific coming into this season.

There were posts on multiple occasions that Rotoworld said Percy Harvin would return on Week 12 (Seahawks bye week).

Minimal risk of injury if he returns that week. Also minimum amount of fantasy points.

The ONLY thing writers on this site are concerned about is protecting their own asses when it comes to their preseason rankings. Ironically most of them don't spend an extra five seconds to proof read their work.

Can a bunch of drunk monkeys be trained to proofread? We might have stumbled across the problem.

Time=money. Those five seconds could be spent writing another snarky comment that generates more clicks.

Garrett Graham went from a bottom of the barrel TE2/3 to back-end TE1 to barely on the TE2 radar in a matter of weeks....

I think you guys are being a little harsh. Remember, the majority of the info on this site is FREE. Yes, FREE. Most of these guys doing Fantasy for a living are doing it out of a passion for the sport. They're not making a ton of money doing this. Cut them some slack and make your own decisions when it comes to your fantasy teams. Too often these guys are used as scapegoats.

There are so many mistakes on these blurbs, simple mistakes taht a little fact checking could fix. I would be ok with one every so often but they happen multiple times a week.

Whoever wrote the blurb on Steven Jackson obviously started him this week. Pretty disrespectful toward a class guy like SJax. Surprised the person didn't end the blurb with, "POO POO ON ON YOU, YOU STUPID NINNY HEAD!"

"We hope that Jackson's hamstring wasn't 100 percent after not playing since Week 2. Because if he was healthy, this was a truly pathetic performance. The offensive line gave him very few holes, but he ran like a poor man's Peyton Hillis while trying to find them. Slow would be an understatement. The Falcons would have been better off sticking with Jacquizz Rodgers (four touches), but they gave S-Jax the veteran treatment and a majority of the snaps. The sledding won't get any easier as the Falcons are at Carolina in Week 9 and then face Seattle in Week 10. Jackson has almost no shot to produce against those elite defenses."

There is no excuse to not take the time to check your facts before posting something online for millions of people to read especially when you're getting paid for it.

Are the blurb writers paid employees?

I always assumed it was a volunteer position.
