Pineda hasn't pitched in 2 years, but he probably has the most upside of the three. We pretty much know what Lynn is at this point, but he could still improve. Straily has potential and has shown flashes.

Based purely on durability, I'd roll with Lynn and Straily. Pineda's health is an issue.

I remember one evening in the pouring rain
And in my heart there was an aching pain
Fare thee well, my honey, fare thee well

So PITC, what are you saying? I'm thinking upside too so Pineda and Straily?  Or is Lynn due for a bounce back after a bit of a "Sophomore Slump"?  After all he is only 26.

Upside - I'm going Pineda Lynn Straily.
2014 Stats - Maybe Lynn Straily  Pineda.
Long Term - Straily Pineda Lynn.

Therin lies my predicament.

Im not a big fan of Lynn.  I would go Pineda and Straily, or maybe just Straily and throw the other two back.

Pineda is a sleeper for me.
He probably wont give you a good ERA but he will bring a lot of SO.
If he stays healthy. So I would give him a shoot.

Second one is Lynn. He was good this year and I am a fan.
He will also deliver a lot of SO.

So I would go with Lynn and Pineda.

Ha!  3 Replies; one for Lynn/Straily, one for Pineda/Straily and one for Lynn/Pineda.  Back to square one.

Is there a tie-breaker out there?

If I have to choose 2, I'd go Lynn/Straily.   Pineda's shoulder scares me too much to keep him.
