Unless your fantasy playoffs go into week 17 you should be fine. It's hard to see teams resting guys in week 16. My guess is most teams will be playing for playoff seedlings, playoff births, etc.

Pretty much no one until week 17. There's enough competition for divisional and home field advantage that it's setting up for not a lot of action on this front. No one has a huge lead like Indy did a few years back......Maybe Seattle. SF/NO this week will dictate a lot of that.

I agree, the only case I could see a player resting down the stretch is actually for losing, rebuilding teams who don't want to rush their players back for no good reason.

The chance of Charles being rested in week 16 is around 4%. He probably wouldn't be rested until week 17, but at this point in the season with as many carries as he's racked up Knile Davis is a required handcuff for his owners. He'd be in line to step in for Charles as the workhorse. So if you have Knile the week 16 risk drops even further, to around zero. Unless they split carries that week.
I have 2 warning points. How many until I get a prize?

Yeah. If I were a Peterson owner I'd be worried that we see more and more of Toby Gerhart as the season winds down--No way Peterson sits out a game unless he's really hurting, but I can see them mixing in Gerhart to the point where Peterson maxes out at 10-12 total touches down the stretch. He will still get the GL carries, though.

Other than that, though, I don't see the other losing teams really resting their starters. I expect Ben Tate to go hard in Houston, because he's got something to prove. Same with Zac Stacy in Saint Louis. In the low chance that Rodgers isn't coming back and GB loses their next two, maybe Lacy's usage will be scaled back so he doesn't take such a pounding in 8-man boxes, but I expect the Packers to be in it and needing to fight for a playoff spot all the way through.

Yahoo League (Going for the Three-Peat!) (12-teams / QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, FLX, K, DEF, IDP / 6 pts all TDs / 1 point=50 pass yards or 15 rec yards or 10 rush yards): Drew Brees, Marques Colston, Wes Welker, Greg Jennings, Josh Gordon, LeVeon Bell, Matt Asiata, Toby Gerhart, Ben Tate, Ray Rice, Zach Ertz, LeGarrette Blount

ESPN League (Runner up 2 years running--looking for the win!) (12-teams / QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, FLX, K, DEF / 4 pts pass TDs; 6 pts all others / 1 point=20 pass yards or 10 rec yards or 10 rush yards): Aaron Rodgers, Randall Cobb, Mike Wallace, Michael Floyd, Josh Gordon, Ben Tate, Frank Gore, Ray Rice, Stevan Ridley, Fred Jackson, Vernon Davis, Larry Donnell, Carlos Hyde

He's been shut down almost every game this year.
