So football is over, and fantasy football has been over for weeks, but I'm curious as to what the last place finisher in everyone's league has been put through this year (or is going to be put through). It was the second year for our money league, ITouchdownThere, and we have established a last place trophy, The Cock. It's a life size rooster statue that has to be presented in the last place finishers home at all time til the end of next season. Still working on an actual punishment though. We want to be creative and original. I love hearing about what everyone else does to their league loser though so please share! Bring on the laughs!

My league does a live draft every year, and after the live draft, we go out to the bars drinking all night. Our last place finisher has to wear a sash (think like Miss America pagent sashes) with a very inappropriate message (cannot reveal on RW Forums) all night long! It's pretty hilarious...

Our last place finisher has to man the draft board for the next year.

In a friend's league the last player finisher has to run across a field in only his underwear while the champ gets to shoot at him with a paintball gun. The league I do is tame by comparison. Last place finisher just gets ridiculed and has to serve everyone beers at the draft the following year.

My friend next to me at work told me that his league forces the guy who finishes in last place to retake the SATs, and has to show proof he did better than a score of 1000 - out of three sections thats not too tough, but makes someone waste about 5 hours of his weekend.

Good stuff so far. Yeah I ran into a couple different guys wearing big posters at bars saying that they suck at life and fantasy football. Two different leagues. Two different guys. Similar posters. Same amount of laughs from me. I'm thinking about doing something similar. The only probably is that I'm the commish and my dad and three uncles are in the league as well. Can't see them coming out bar hopping with me to make that plan work.

Drove him over to the Canada-US border and had him walk/hitch-hike all the way home.

Our last place finisher has to man the draft board for the next year.

This is actually a quite effective, if unintentional, educational tool. Generally the ones manning the draft board have a heightened awareness of where people went in the draft, so while it may not reap immediate benefits, it may actually make this last place finisher a better drafter and able to avoid last place in the future.

I know of leagues that charge a penalty for last place finishers (ie an additional 50% of the buy in, payed to first place), but that is more about keeping everybody playing until the end of the season.

I'm actually tempted to make the last place finisher pay for Blues tickets after the football season is over. I think that would just be an awesome experience for the league along with making the loser pay for being terrible. I'd have a hard to getting everyone on board with that though.

If this is true this is fairly clever, however, I have this vision of a league full of chess club, MIT nerds all sitting around a table at a Star Trek convention chuckling over the SAT score.

Honestly, any of the other punishments sound more appealing. Even the Russian roulette. I'd probably have to pass on the SAT league

That's what makes it so great. Truly the most unappealing thing to do, spend your weekend retaking the worst test ever...
