Will he flourish from this trade or continue his inconsistent numbers?? I was considering dropping Johansen CLS or MacArthur OTT to pick up Penn but now I am unsure.

I would leave him on the waivers.  He runs so hot and cold you have no idea when or if he'll heat up again.  See if he clicks and who he plays with first.

According to practice this morning (via one of the beat reporters) Laich was with Backstrom and Ovi and Penner was with Johannsson and Brouwer.  He will probably get more power play time and lines always change so we'll see how he does.
