He is "running angry."  Get him now, before it's too late.

Sarcasm?

Here's the thing I keep coming back to on Gerhart - clearly a lot of folks were high on him coming into the year, and he flashed some great upside in Minnesota last year. I don't know that we had a ton of insight into it, but what if Gerhart was just playing very injured over those first six or so turd games, and he's now back to full health?

High ankle sprain on Opening Weekend was thrown around some but I don't think it was ever verified. If it was really a high ankle, it explains a lot of why he looked so terrible early on.

That's simply 100% untrue.

The thing is, Denard Robinson's midseason breakout has kind of capped a lot of the upside that Gerhart had.  I'm not sure we see Gerhart wrestle back the feature back role, which leaves him in a similar boat most likely to guys like SJax and Matt Asiata, part of a timeshare.

If Denard Robinson were to get injured, then I think Gerhart would be a nice RB2 rest of season.  But right now, I can only suggest FLEX, since being in a timeshare likely makes his fantasy production more volatile week-to-week, as well as more TD-dependent.

Gerhart as an RB2 with upside was mainly for PPR-type leagues, and was based on his workload.  If Todman stays in on 3rd downs, that caps a lot of Gerhart's PPR-type value as a pass-catcher.  And if Gerhart isn't getting 18-20 touches a game, you can't be confident every week in his fantasy production (thus, FLEX as opposed to his original RB2 with upside projections).

Unfortunately, I discounted Denard Robinson's impact.  I thought he would fall flat kind of like other smaller guys like Daryl Richardson.  To this point, he's proven useful enough for fantasy, and that likely means he's proven useful enough to hold onto a decent chunk of the carries in that backfield.

What's the usage for a healthy toby with denard? Is it 3rd down opportunities and goalline looks? Is it rotating series with denard? Or is it just to spell denard with todman as the third down back?

last week was a positive for Toby as he looked healthy with the ball in his hands. Do they increase his usage this week?

See around the :55 and 2:30 mark on this video. Bradley is getting desperate to find a solution. Specifically called out the offense.

Than the OC says keeping Bortle's out of 2nd and 3rd and longs is important for the offensive growth . Interesting listen if you like some candid insight on trying to reverse a losing trend and win games. On both video's

I will continue to provide information on the Jags offense...There is a relevance for the easy end of season schedule, dynasty, and those that enjoy following the entire spectrum of NFL teams.
