The guys in my league think that I have a horseshoe up my rear and say that I am one of the luckiest fantasy football players they've ever seen. Time to test that theory tonight.
Here's to hoping for 20 carries 60 yds and a td. As a Texans fan it's difficult for me to say this but go Jags!

Looks like your leaguemates will be even more mad now ;)

Thank you Toby! You provided more than I could ask for, for my flex! 12 pts instead of a proj 6 points from ivory! Woot! The plunge was worth it ;P

Man, kicking myself for not starting him. Now I'm stuck with Lesean Mccoy, who's unlikely to even get half the points...

12 is great from Gerhart for most peoples' needs.  I'm a huge underdog in my matchup so for me I need more upside - so I'm not kicking myself YET for not starting him.

12 is decent for most guys not named Murray or Bell. I'm curious who in the Gerhart level of RBs is giving you more hope than 12 points this week.

I'm happy that I started Gerhart so now I don't have to stress over my RB2 spot (which is the weakest in my lineup), but I'm guessing there is a decent chance one of the other guys I considered over him will score at least 12 (Herron & L. Murray). You're not really expecting over 100 yards from guys like this, it just comes down to scoring a TD when you're talking about reaching that point range.

When you're trying to fill the weak spots in your lineup, you just want to hopefully plug in guys that won't lose the week for you, and Gerhart certainly provided that.

I agree and I'm kinda kicking myself now for leaving Gerhart on my bench.  12pts standard scoring isn't crazy but it is pretty solid from the RB2.  It was either Gerhart or Ingram and now I'm hoping Ingram can find the endzone.  I may regret leaving Gerhart on my bench...

I was always gonna start Tre Mason but Gerharth was a flex option. Obviously if any of my starers fail I will be upset. But if my flex option gets more then 12, I will be ok with the benching. If J Chares or Dez fail to get a TD that won't hurt as much since I was always going to play those guys.

I decided last minute to sit Gerhart for Asiata in my half PPR league. Looking like a mistake so far.

Yahoo RB FP avg for the year puts Gerhart's 12 points as a RB9.

I should say so that those who played him as a second RB or flex would would be happy with this performance.

Agreed. I was hoping for around 60 total yards and a TD against the Titans, and Gerhart delivered a modest but fantasy effective performance. It's absolutely enough for a pat on the back, I got a few texts from leaguemates offering props for me having the balls to start Gerhart in the championship this year.
12.5 points from Gerhart isn't enough for me to go streaking through the streets screaming TOOOBBBBBYYYYYY, but it sure as hell is enough to keep my team competitive and neutralize my team's biggest weakness (RB) in this match-up.

Nice job on this thread this week, RotoWorld'ers.

Grats on having the balls to start him and like you said it is a solid 12pts.  Can't complain.  I didn't have the balls to start him but I would have taken 12pts for sure.  I got gun shy as I was burned on my last two Thurs games.

Grats to all who started Gerhart.  Solid start to the week.

That'll do pig... 13 pts (ppr) is not too shabby for a WW streamer.
