He's a starting shortstop, so I figured he deserved a thread. Had an appendectomy earlier this year, but appears to be ready for the start of the season. PECOTA has him projected to get something like 550 ABs this year.

Last year he hit 9 HRs and had 15 SBs in 446 ABs. Yes, the average is going to kill you - something like .230 probably. Strikes out too much for that to go up much, but a 10/15 SS in an AL-only or deep league has value at MI. Anyone rostering this guy?
No one cares about my teams...

"he's a starting shortstop, so I figured he deserved a thread" pretty much sums up his 2014 outlook.

Pedro Florimon struck out all three times he was up Saturday against the Yankees.
Advice: Florimon is 1-for-11 since returning from an appendectomy that cost him the first 2 1/2 weeks of the exhibition season. The Twins aren't playing him for his bat anyway, so he'll be on the active roster to start the year
