With Soto out for 10-12 weeks at the beginning of the season, what are people's view of JPA as a sleeper pick?

Here is a Fangraph article discussing the same.

The only thing J.P. doesn't swing and miss at is the ladies.  He apparently bagged the hot chick from The Band Perry.

As to your question, I wouldn't touch him with a 10-foot pole because the only stat he can help with is HR...he kills every other category.  Maybe worth a pickup in 2-catcher formats, but that's it (and I'm not playing in any 2-catcher leagues).

He has been producing lately and will get playing time not bad if you are in a 2 catcher league and you never know i think he knows he is trying to impress other teams for next year since he will not be a catcher anymore.

Probably the 0 for 18 has something to do with it.
