no thread for Swisher in 2014??

so okay this guy is struggling.
.214/.302/.333/.635
but he should improve?
11.5 BB%, so he is still walking good.
22.9 K%, comparable to previous seasons.
.262 BABIP, compared to .288 BABIP in 2013, and .324 BABIP in 2012.

I wonder if he's a good buy low. He's been a consistent 20 HR hitter throughout his career, but off to a slow start. His defense has been terrible at 1b that I wonder if Francona would move Santana to 1b and put Chisenhall at 3b. I guess he can still DH and continue to see playing time due to his contract. But is he starting to decline?

Does anyone think I should pick up swisher in 10 team OPS league? If he can get 20 + hr and around 70 RBI or more that would be decent... Thoughts? You think he turns it around?

Ticker tease of the night.  Indians put up 15 runs.  Oh great that means Swisher probably did something!!!  0 for 4 with 0 runs, 0 RBI, oh but 2 BB's.  Yeahhhhhhhhh.  ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

CBS update says he hurt his left knee today stepping on 1st base awkwardly. This coming after he missed the previous 2 games with a right knee injury. Anybody see the play or have any other information on the severity of the injury?

Doubt it.  Giambi and Raburn will lose the most time, as Swish will likely be the DH most days.  Aviles is the one that is a**ed out by Chis.

Swisher's contract may be the worst in the league.  Dude has two more years after this one making 14 million per year and he's become a DH who's in sharp decline with the bat.
