Might be the starting Rf now.  Batting lead off and on fire.  Could stick around as a utility player getting ab's...

yup has taken over for Tabata. Loving the leadoff status. Marte seems to be enjoying the 5-hole. This could stick

i have to type the obvious disclaimer. tabata/snider/harrison are all just placeholders until polanco gets called up. still hopefully harrison makes the best of his opportunity.

It is worth noting that Josh Harrison has dual eligibility at OF and 2B in Yahoo (but only OF eligibility in ESPN).  I just picked him up in a Yahoo league where I am struggling for production at my MI position.

I picked him up in my deep NL-only when Trumbo went down and I'm ecstatic about his recent success...but it's just a little hot streak. I went to a Pirates blog to see if anyone was optimistic and everyone was actually bummed that he was doing well since they hate his defense and are pining for Lambo/Polanco to get called up. I have no choice but to ride him out but mixed leaguers can keep moving unless you want to gamble on this hot streak for a little longer.

Lol that lasted a nice 3 days. Way too crowded with both tabata and Snider around. Shame because marte is fitting into the 5 hole nicely

Been hitting leadoff again the last week or so and not only hitting well but making a ton of great plays in the outfield.  Season slash line is up to .296/.342/.493 with a couple steals and a couple homers.  Probably relegated to a utility role when Polanco gets called up, but could the Pirates live with his defense at SS instead of the offensive black hole that is Mercer/Barmes?  Hitting leadoff in front of Walker, Cutch, and Pedro is a hell of a place to be.

I would be ecstatic if he got time at SS over Mercer and the occasional start at 2B + 3B.  It all depends if he keeps on hitting and Mercer keeps sucking

Could end the season with 2B/3B/OF eligibility and possibly SS. If he's still hitting when Polanco is promoted he may get a shot at full time SS

That would be awesome.  I posed the question on a Pirates blog and they made it seem like he would be a super utility when Polanco was recalled and that his defense at SS would be an issue if he was put there full-time.

Harrison ending up at SS and playing good defense would be a dream scenario for the Pirates. I really hope that happens.

This guy worth picking up? Looking for an extra 2B when I drop Gyorko. Can't be much worse I suppose.

He has made it impossible for the Pirates to sit him, even when Polanco is called up. It may only be a 3-4 times a week thing filling in for Marte/Alvarez/Walker but he should still get plenty of at-bats this year.

9 game hit streak. Keep an eye on this guy. Being talked up as a guy the Pirates underestimated, really doubt he loses at bats when Polanco comes up. He can play OF, 3B, 2B, and some shortstop. Deep leagues he is very relevant in my opinion

Keeps on hitting.  Best case scenario is he starts SS vs righties and 3B vs some lefties

The Pirates would be smart to move him all over the place in order to keep him in the lineup.
