I would love for Burnett to stay healthy, as he is more talented I think, but he never does. It is tough, because if he does, pretty much how Escobar did last year, he could be worth a ton...

Burnett could miss 10 starts, and he'd still be more valuable than Jered - Burnett is studly when he's around, and when he's hurt, you'll sub someone else in.

I'd take Burnett just for the upside. His K rate will likely be much higher than Weaver's, and after such a strong finish to last year, I think he'll be a beast when healthy. It can't hurt that he's able to opt out of his contract after this year. If he puts together a good season, he could surely find several teams willing to give him another 4 or 5 years, and likely more than the $11 million he'd be due in each of the last two years of his current deal with Toronto. The price of pitching seems to go up a ton every year.
