Nice avg. so far and attempted 2 SBs (1 for 2) in the first four games against Boston. He attempted ZERO last season in 60+ games.

Are the SBs a trend or an aberration?

He could steal 8-10 and yes a poor man's Martin is a good way of putting it. I really like Suzuki: .260 13HR 70RBI 9SB is my projection. Not bad for an AL only or a two catcher league.

He is a good option in AL only...or as a second catcher. Good on base skills. Kurt Klutch during his time in college.

I have Chris Snyder in a mixed league. Do you feel like I'm going with the best option when Suzuki and Doumit are free agents.

I would drop Snyder for Suzuki. I think thats almost a no brainer. I would say the same about Doumit if I knew he was gonna be the starting catcher all year.

I like Snyder because he has great power and plays in a hitter's park. Suzuki plays in Oakland, which is a pitcher park. Personally I like Snyder over those two. Doumit does qualify for both C and OF but seems to sit a lot.

Suzuki's a good option.

Doumit qualifies as a catcher in most leagues and looks like he'll see plenty of time there this season, along with some time in the OF.

Don't count out Jason Kendall. He had Lasik in the offseason. He's hitting so far, and in that lineup, he could really make it a comeback year. Remember, he used to be a .300 hitter. Now that he can see...who knows?

I have him on my dynasty team. Im curious as what his full season numbers might be.

Hes got a bit of everything. He can hit for avg, power and even steal.

He hit 7 HR in 35 games last year. On fire in '08 batting over .400. 3 multi hit games in 8 games.

Any projections?

I dont think thats possible. And thats coming from a guy who watches him everyday, and a big Suzuki fan. I dont know where you get 15 SB's from because he doesnt run at all. Maybe 5 SB's if hes lucky.

.275 13 HR's 65 RBI 65 Runs this year. He will be develop into a little better hitter I think, but his real value lies with his work behind the plate for the pitching staff.

Well he hasnt in at least 2 years. Because he had 0 SB's in 0 attempts as the A's catcher last year, and 0 SB's in 0 attempts in his last full season in AAA Sacramento. He has good speed for a C, but he's not gonna run much.

He had 5 SB's in 8 attempts for AA Midland in 2005. Thats the most running I found. Like I said before, he has good speed. But more of good speed to score on a single from second base, not SB speed. He could take a few bases though.
