Interim GM Lee Pelokudos for the Mariners said in an interview this morning on KJR 950 that Brandon Morrow did not travel to Atlanta because of back spasms. I can't find a link or any other confirmation, but thought a heads up might be helpful.

I'm cool with that. Seattle probably won't create any save opportunities anyways.

Joking aside, wtf.

I bet the Mariners rip off 3-4 sv opps while he's out.

Back spasms usually aren't too big a concern and he should probably be ready to go for the next series.

what in tarnations?! I can't buy a break (except with Branyan). Those 2 appearances I had him for this week were oh so sweet though. 2 IP, 5 K, 0.00 whip, 1 save.

Well that would suck ... I hope this all one big lie but if not the seattle situation otherwise is garbage.

If Kurt Cobain hadn't already killed himself, he would've now after seeing this team. They got swept at home by the other worst team, and they sign guys whose production has plummeted after getting off the juice since they got their big money. Say what you want about Giambi, but at least he is putting up solid numbers. How long till Ichiro finally wises up and asks for a trade?

eh i used abdomen purposely cuz it CAN or could be worse. hopefully this horse gets a rest and is back out on the track dominating soon.

yeah i dumped casilla my interim 2B for guardado, leaving me without a 2B everyday until weeks gets back anyway. they have to make the move to the big guy sooner or later i figure.
