The latest reports out of Detroit indicate that Hudler will be playing on the 2nd line with Zetterberg & Franzen.

Can we possibly see a 20g, 40a season out of this kid? The potential high +/- has me salivating.

Do you think he will have a better year than Afinegenov?

Both will probably have around 60 points. Afinogenov gets an edge because he is a right winger and C is so deep. Afinogenov will go in mid rounds in your drafts while Hudler will go late.

Yeah Hudler should be a good lock for a solid season. He's slated to skate with Zet and Franzen which should mean big numbers for him. 60 I think is fairly reasonable to expect for him. Looks like they are reuniting the RAV line and Roy and Vanek had a great 2nd half last season, so if they can continue the same pace as they did in the 2nd half last season Afino could be in for a great comeback season.

The thing is Affy is on a contract year too so he certainly has the motivation to have a big season.

Hudler probably is the safer bet but both probably will finish around the same ballpark point totals.
