horrible game by the suns so far. turnovers everywhere, like they have never practiced together before. Argueing after every call....just play the damn game and let the refs officiate even though some of the calls were BS. Suns thought goran dragic was a decent backup pg for nash but he has been HORRENDOUS. Guy has no jumpshot and gets killed on defense. I thought I would never see a more worse defender than nash but I think he may jsut be....I know hes a rookie so ill cut him some slack. Shaq is looking good though. Just my analysis on the game so far.

Well, I don't think they worked together much in the preseason to be honest.

I haven't seen enough of Dragic to totally dismiss your stuff there, but are you really going to judge a European player on his first 6 minutes in the game? I usually don't give up on a Euro for the first 3 years. Sometimes they take that long like Peja did or longer like Hedo.

Also, it's the NBA and it happens. This game will likely tighten up again. The Suns played a very tough physical game last night against the Spurs (that they won) and teams seldom look good on the second of a back-to-back.

The Hornets also played yesterday, but I don't think physical can be used to describe a decimated Golden State squad that plays very limited defense or has much size.

I really wouldn't read too much into this one. The Suns will have stretches where they play well, and other stretches where they look old (because they are), but they will still be a good team this year.

Barnes rendered Bell useless.

You're right and I had a feeling this was going to happen , that's why I dumped Bell as quick as possible ...

yea I agree with you here. Im just kind of venting about how bad the suns look without nash on the floor this year. Dragic was atrocious yesterday too but I agree with you that its too early to tell. Suns are in a "win now" mode as shaq and nash arent getting younger. Ill look for the suns to feed amare the ball more in the 2nd half if they want to keep this one close.

when the suns lose they look pathetic

but on a greater note
boris diaw is the worst player in the world

why is he such a coward
shoot the god damn ball
he beats his man, gets to the paint and then passes the ball
he has a smaller man posted up on the low block and passes the ball
he's wide open with 2 seconds left on the shot clock and passes the ball
he's under the god damn basket with the ball and passes it to a teammate behind the 3pt line
he's a cowardly lion dry.gif

edit - and i don't even own him

I as an Amare owner am angry that he isn't shooting either. They just always crowd Amare and leave Boris open because he is such a wimp.
Thats Ridiculous
again, Matt Barnes still can't make a frickin' shot. so sloppy.

the Suns should've kept Shaq in the game longer.

Phoenix is looking like a fantasy graveyard this year if Porter continues run 11 guys out there. And Nash needs to axe the 20 second dribbling exhibition everytime down the court. Move the ball and get some guys envolved in the game!

Geez, it's a new coach and a new gmeplan. He's trying out different things and seeing if they work. Everyone needs to calm down. Give them 5-10 games and they should be clicking.

Agreed. Shaq's only real problem (i mean, outside the glaring FT bricks) is health and motivation. In the Spurs game you could tell this season he came to play and he looks great for his age. Hornets have no one of the size to match up on Shaq. If Shaq in his old age magically learns to land FT%s look out. (I know, never going to happen)
