We've started experimenting with publishing some of our fantasy player news on Twitter.

Right now we're twittering most of our NFL Player News items.

Not if you want the text updates sent to your phone.

I'd just go to the site too - I don't really want tons of text messages sent to my phone to be honest.

Besides, can't you get text updates for players and rotoworld fantasy advice from mobile.nbcsports.com right now anyway? Is this that much different for anyone who isn't already a twitter user?

I'd much rather see the rotoworld web site much more phone friendly...the forums in particular display terribly on my phone...

That said however, since twitter probably makes it relatively easy for rotoworld to set up and disperse the player info, there's really not much downside for RW to go for it...I commend you guys for experimenting with it even if I likely won't use it...

No Twitter updates since 12/23? I take it the experiment didn't catch on? I like the idea because Rotoworld is blocked at my office but Twitter isn't

I'll take a look. We certainly didn't kill it.

We also plan to launch baseball, basketball, hockey shortly.

The updates are working again, there was a technical issue with Twitter (they made the change 12-23). Sorry for any inconvenience and thanks for the heads up.

I love the twitter updates because I can bring them directly into google reader. Is there anyway you can set up an RSS feed for the daily football articles and for the season pass posts for members?
