Hey, any fans near Charlotte, I just wanted you let y’all know about this. At Lowe’s Motor Speedway, the weekend after Thanksgiving, I am going to this Souvenir Blow-Out thing that the track is having. Last year it was just one day, but this year it is going to be the whole weekend. They sell all of the 2008 souvenirs at a really good price. Last year I bought a hat and shirt for just $6. It was great. It’s not just track stuff either. A lot of the team souvenir haulers show up and sell their stuff at great prices too.
The greatest part is that if you buy $50 in souvenirs or make a $25 donation to Speedway Children’s Charities, then you can drive your car around the track for 3 laps. Last year we took my dad’s Camaro. It was awesome, and we bought $150 worth of souvenirs and got to go 3 times. They are only doing that on Friday this year, but the souvenirs will be there all weekend. The ticket office is also open, and they usually do some special ticket offer too. Anyway, it’s a great way to have a fun weekend and get some cool stuff.
