The official trailer for
X-Men Origins: Wolverine:
http://www.traileraddict.com/trailer/xmen-...lverine/trailerHugh Jackman reprises the role that made him a superstar – as the fierce fighting machine who possesses amazing healing powers, retractable claws and a primal fury. Leading up to the events of X-Men, X-Men Origins: Wolverine tells the story of Wolverine’s epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe whose appearances in the film series have long been anticipated.

Yep, in the comics Gambit was a good guy but he has a shady past. Who knows what he'll be in the film!

Keitel in the 80's, sure! He would have done a masterful job. But way too old now.
Danzig has the look ... but he is 3 feet tall. The visual would be too funny!

Ahhhhh...But as originally conceived in the comic books Wolverine was about 5' tall.

Well that's only because he was crouched over most of the time in the comic books.. I think Hugh Jackman plays an awesome Wolverine, IMO.

By the way, the Wolverine soundtrack uses music from a movie I love called Sunshine. Nice touch!

I don't know what's more surprising, the fact that Wolverine was supposed to be 5'3" or that Hugh Jackman is almost 6'3" tall.
I thought he was a shorter dude in real life like Tom Cruise, but damn was I wrong.

I don't know. The evil guy in the
CSI Episode "Bad to the Bone" kinda' fits that bill, and there was nothing funny about him at all.

Agreed, as one may guess since I started the thread!

Hugh Jackman was a great choice, as he is a fine actor. While the first X-Men movie was just okay, each sequel got better & better. I do like the Wolverine trailer, so I'm encouraged!

From what I have heard from people. If you are a X-Men fan you'll like it cause it is X-Men but it doesn't transcend over to people who aren't X-Men buffs.

As riveting and hysterical as he was in
Blade 3, he shouldn't be in super-hero movies.

The first 2/3 is really good. The last 1/3 is really bad, with way too many characters thrown in and too much going on, not to mention an asinine final fight. They also ruin one of my fave Marvel characters.

I thought it was a great movie, was it Dark Knight? No. However, it was a great X-men movie if you could follow the storyline with the characters and such. I had to explain a few things to the GF during the movie but she followed most of it knowing nothing about the comic outside of the other movies.
I want to know what those expected out of this movie who say it wasn't a good movie...There is only so much you can do in 2 hours...

Everyone who follows the comics pretty much accepts that this was just an awful movie, like me. It was just bad for those who know a lot about the Marvel Universe.
Also, the whole '3 different endings' thing depending on what theatre you go to is a frigging terrible idea.
I hated it, it did absolutely nothing for me.

Derivative, unimaginative, been there, done that.
Sigh. Such a terrible fate for what was a spectacular movie franchise (I & II).
