For me it is Antonio Bryant. The last three weeks (including playoffs) my highest scoring WR has been Antonio Bryant who put up great numbers with two different QBs. Thank you Antonio, your 200 yd 2 td game put me over the top and into the playoffs!

Who was your biggest surprise on your roster this year?
The Dynasty
Lance Moore - Didn't do anything in the playoffs, but he sure as hell helped get me there.
New England Patriots Defense - Stepped up in a big way last night to put me up 65 with my opponent having Grant and Jennings to go.

Antonio Bryant for sure, I'd also include Roddy White (for the first 12 weeks or so), and Tyler Thigpen.
Irish
Matt Forte for me. I drafted him in the 5th round simply because he was the only feature back left and was even trying to trade him in the preseason. He has been carrying me in my PPR league ever since and i even get to keep him as a 5th rounder next year.

Since I won my championship last night, I get to watch him play tonight and simply enjoy, instead of worrying about what numbers he puts up.

Going to be the best MNF game of the season :-)
Jacked_Up
Shuan Hill and Cedric Benson on championship game day.
Dallas Billboy
Deangelo Williams. Sure, I drafted him, but did I expect him to be the MVP of Fantasyland? Heck no.
headchopper
even with the poor(by his standards) game yesterday, Steve Slaton is my MVP. I was able to get him with the last pick in all drafts. Waited for Ahman to get hurt, which we all knew was coming. And Slaton lit up the scoreboard for me consistantly. Then in the last few weeks really took off. His game against J-Ville single handidly got my on the playoffs in one league.

Along with headchopper, Slaton in one league was a nice surprise. I have Michael Turner in 2 leagues and while I thought he would be good, I didn't think he would be THAT good this year. Phillip Rivers also performed higher than I was expecting. I was doubting him almost every week.

DeAngelo Williams. I drafted him in the 7th round to be my #4 RB. He ends up the #1 RB in my league, and scores four TDs for me in the championship, a game my top two RBs (Marion Barber, Frank Gore) didn't even make it to.
Winky
Without question, it's DeAngelo Williams, but Kurt Warner and Matt Cassel are close seconds.
Honorable mentions to Pierre Thomas, Tashard Choice, and Antonio Bryant for their playoff runs.
Honorable mentions to Matt Ryan and Steve Slaton for season long contributions.
willis
Aaron Rodgers - got him in the 13rd round and he has been my one constant.

Need him to put up 12 today to advance to the championship. I'm nervous about the weather though.
Bobcat
LeRon McClain picked up the slack for Willie Parker.
Dallas Clark and Dominic Rhodes had two EPIC playoff weeks for me and have me inline for the 'ship!
gangtsa
I'd mention Kurt Warner, but he's the reason i lost lol. So Jay Cutler.
Rush2112
For me it's Michael Turner & Deangelo williams. i drafted both of them and they both took me to the championship and a win yesterday smile.gif
Van Buren Boys
Pierre Thomas for me.
I_AM_A_NINJA
Bryant, Slaton, Owen Daniels
4.12
Thomas Jones, Forte and MISTAH RODDY WHITE, who has now become one of my favorite receivers, too bad he couldnt make a good impact yesterday though...

Defensively, Leodis Mckelvin was great for me through the playoffs in my return yardage league. He gave me everything I could hope for.

you could have won a fantasy championship with guys pulled off the waiver wire during the season

Matt Cassell (or Thigpen or shaun hill)
Pierre Thomas, D. Rhodes, sammy morris, T. Choice
antonio bryant (cut in one league of mine after bad weeks 4-6), justin gage
V. Shiancoe, j. carlson
Swinger
In my league hands down Tyler Thigpen. In his last 10 games that he has started he has averaged 18 points per game. I had him, Benson, McClain, Rhodes, Forte and CJ-late picks and wavier wire picks that can win championships!
oscars2212
Roddy White. Drafted him in the 7th round as a bye-week filler, and he ended up starting over Torry Holt from week 2 on, and carrying me to the championship game (still might win, if Rogers throws a few TDs tonight).
timr100
Not exactly a game changer for most fantasy leagues, but Josh Wilson. In my league we get one IDP, and IDP's get one point every 25 kick or punt return yards. While week in and week out other teams scrambled to find productive IDPs, Wilson put up the good numbers. By our scoring he has 22 more points than any other defender. Many of my games were close, and without his consistency we would have lost a couple more games.
Golden Ratio
Chris Johnson. 3 times.
Go Texans Go
slaton, royal, forte, d-will, bryant, shiancoe, carlson, choice, thomas jones, r. white...all guys who will have helped either the whole season or playoffs
Scott0326
Steve Slaton
Hawks
John Carlson, CJohnson, Hartley.
southernSteeler
Ooh, for a short time. Mewelde Moore helped me greatly.

I have to agree about Rivers. He was coming back from a fairly serious injury and still put up the numbers each week. I'm still not a fan of his attitude and antics at times, but you can't argue with his on field performance. I picked him up in a trade when Brady went down.

Aaron Rodgers is another surprise hero for my teams. Sure he has a great surrounding cast in GB, but he still had to perform. He also had some pretty big shoes to fill.
Skylar112
After suffering the collapse of Tom Brady I had to rely on Kurt Warner, he was absolutely awesome great most of the season.

Other than Clinton Portis the rest of my rb were garbage. So guys like Mewelde, Leon Washington, Buckhalter, Pierre Thomas really carried me over many wins. Also Kevin Walter I picked him up off WW 10 minutes before week 4 started put him in since then never took him out he was also did a lot of damage for me.
Touched by a Bengal
My team was just mediocre in the regular season but was an absolute playoff monster. I can honestly say my entire roster came up huge thru the playoffs, how do you pick an MVP out of these?

QB P. Manning
RB P. Thomas
RB T. Choice
WR S. Smith
WR A. Bryant
TE D Clark
K N. Kaeding
DEF Cardinals

Only guy I really lacked was Deangelo Williams. Thank you so much playoff monster team!
apathy
My team is full of them....Rodgers, Turner, Chris Johnson, Thigpen.

But my hero's are Colston and Clark:

20 and 30 from Colston and 34 and 26 from Clark...they are the only reason I won because my backs(Turner, AP and Chris Johnson) weren't great when I had them in.
Mr. Positive
Drafted-Roddy White
Waiver Claim - Carlson or Bruce
Traded for - Thigpen
drater
Drafted: Chris Johnson, Pierre Thomas
Waiver Wire: Titans, right before week 1 kickoff
Traded: TO, only trade I made
Br0kenB
Matt Forte! Thank you! Took him in the 7th Round and he basically won me 700 bucks.
