So I just got a new laptop a Satellite Toshiba and I like it but I have one major problem with it. With my old dell I could press down the left and right clicky things and a could either scroll or open up a link in a new tab and on this I can't. It is annoying me to death is there anyway I can fix that?

Wheb I would left and right click at the same time it would act as someone hitting the scroll thing in between the left and right click on a regular mouse
. Its bugging the hell out of me

Same thing happened with me. On my old laptop, if i hit both the buttons, it would open a new tab/window. On the one i use now, it does nothing.

I have had a Toshiba Satelite for two years now. You can scroll straight from the fingerpad. On the very left side, just move your finger up and down to scroll up and down, and to go back and forth, just go the the very bottom and go left to right. Dont really know how to open up new links/tabs that way. I always just did the ole fashioned click the "open new tab" button. lol

It was a hot key on your old laptop and not on this one. It could have been built into the old driver as I don't think Windows allows access to that sort of thing. You can try to locate the driver of your current mouse pad and see if you can change the settings but I doubt you will have much luck.

I can try and walk you through it on AIM later.
