OMG Scariest movie of all time!!!!!!! I just heard of this movie today, although I'm not sure what to think of it from the previews. I'm always very skeptical of almost any horror movie, since they almost always suck. What do you think?

I used to work as a cam operator on Ghost Hunters.

I saw that trailer the other day & it does look like it could be good. My GF is into scary movies, so I'm sure I'll see this at some point.

I'm a skeptic regarding 99.5% of all paranormal/wacky phenomena. Did you ever observe anything you couldn't explain?

Once, my camera battery would drain to empty every time I crossed the threshold into this home. It happened with 5 batteries and as soon as I walked back out of the home the battery was back to full juice with all 5, very odd but IDK if it counts as paranormal.

I have seen that claimed as a "paranormal" effect. It is very odd, however I'm sure there's some kind of natural explanation, even if it is as yet unknown.

I do watch some of these wacky paranormal type shows. At least they do provide some reasonable explanations on occasion & I get to learn new off the wall stuff. For ex., I was amazed by the somewhat successful head transplant performed in the late 60’s, early 70’s!

i've never seen anything i couldn't explain, but clearly other people have. I'd be skeptical if it were 3, 4 people, but it's thousands of people with stories. I guess they all could be lying, but that's alot of people.

Mind playing tricks, it's so easy to imagine things that aren't there. I have absolutely zero belief in ghosts or paranormal activity. I'll definitely see this movie though because I'm a fan of scary movies.

So anyone actually see the movie?

I really enjoy a good scary movie but there hasn't been a good one in some time.

I don't know if I'll see it in theaters. I want to see a lot of films, but so little time. I'm sure I'll check it out on DVD if nothing else.

I saw it this weekend, it's a really creepy movie. Very well done. And it takes alot for a movie to creep me out. It's in the same vein as Blair Witch Project but scarier. It's also a really good one to see in theaters because the reactions of all the people around you add to it a bit.

Number 1 movie over the weekend. Anyone see it? Any good?

You definitely gotta go with people to see it so you that you can get their reactions throughout it. You're either gonna think it sucked, or think it's the scariest movie ever. I think I was the exception to that since I thought it was good, but definitely not scary. The last few minutes are definitely worth it, though.

I might be a very harsh critic but I saw the movie, and I even sat seats away from people just to try an absorb the effect that this is supposed to be scary. I like the documentary view but after about 10 minutes my head was dizzy. Overall, there were creepy moments in the movie, but I didn't think it was scary at all. The girl I'm seeing text me from afar when the scary parts were coming. She's easily startled and if she had to ask then it wasn't really that scary. Overall I find American movies to be pretty lame, with the exception of the classics and the movie 1408 was pretty scary and well done. This movie was no exception I thought it was dismal, and not too scary.

The Descent is scary.

What is this movie even about? All the commercials I've seen just show grainy night vision footage of the audience while flashing the words "SCARIEST MOVIE EVER!".
