Well, I was sure the Saints were going down after the Wildcat ran over them early on....can anyone stop them now? If the Falcons want any shot of the division crown, a must-win, against long odds.
norcal
i need this game to be 6-0, saints.
Go Texans Go
i practically already won, but just in case. Lets hope Lance Moore and John Carney score all the saints points tonite...no reggie bush or devery henderson tonite
Tarheels_2433
I hope Roddy White gets extra rowdy tonight...
vanderwima10
Just got word that injured Atlanta running backs Jerious Norwood and Jason Snelling will not be active for tonight’s game.

Should be a good game, I got a feeling that the Saints will remain undefeated.
z32tt_envy
Need Colston to have a good game...Basically a typical game for him. 6 catches 80 yards and a score would be fine.
drater
I need so much to happen right in this game over multiple leagues that I won't even start the hex by mentioning it.

norcal
or i could use 3 (new olreans) fumble recoveries, 3 int's, 3 pic 6's, shutout! i'm leading by 50, but the guy i'm playing has brees & henderson...c'mon defense!

No kidding. Who's backing him up, Jamal Anderson? Could we see the dirty bird tonight?
SkinsRBack
Yes, thanks for talking him up fellas
norcal
......not going according to plan
ludawg23
what a great start for the Falcons.

As mentioned in the pre-game, the Falcons are undefeated when Turner runs for ove 100 yards.

4 carries for 38 yards and a TD.

If he can be a big part of this game, the Falcons might have a chance.

Aaron Stecker.

Mike Bell gets the start over PT, and looks impressive.
elongoria12
if pierre doesnt score or go over 100 today, im dropping him.

edit; AND THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!
Tarheels_2433
Wow...that's how you run the football
Patrick Bateman
Pierre Thomas showing again why he's the most talented RB on that roster....I don't think Payton agrees though...
norcal
awesome...NOT brees and NOT henderson...back on track smile.gif
SkinsRBack
Yes a shootout
ludawg23
That was way too easy, PT should have been tackled there.

The Falcons' D better buck up or this could get out of hand.
Tallkid33
I wonder if that unsportsmanlike conduct further puts Pierre in the doghouse though??

No kidding. I think the penalty came when Shockey came into join the celebration, can't have a two or more players staging a celebration. I think that's the rule, but I'm not sure.....
SkinsRBack
Can't start punting Atlanta. That N.O. Offense is going to put some pressure on ya.
Patrick Bateman
Wow, what a play there....Nicely done by the ATL D. Lit Brees up...

They said on TV that it was because a fan threw a beer bottle in the endzone? So the penalty was on the fans? They didn't replay it, so I couldn't tell. Thomas hot-dogged it for waaaay too long though.

When they came back on air, they corrected themselves and said it was for celebration and not for the beer bottle, although it should be a penalty......Again, I think it's because more then one player was doing a dance with him, but I could be wrong. Sigh, I long for the days when there was some actual fun integrated into the game....Bring back Butch Johnson....

It was b/c of the celebration. You could actually see the flag thrown during the celebration once the other players joined in with PT. No way should the home team get a penalty for the actions of the people in the stands. It's not like all of the fans there are only cheering for NO. I think it's just as likely that an ATL fan threw a beer at a NO player celebrating excessively.

Thx, must have missed that. For refs to be staring at celebrations just waiting for 2 players to touch so they can throw the flag is pretty lame.

Yup. You could see Shockey there putting his hands up on Colston's TD as if to say, "I'm not celebrating, I'm not celebrating!" Ha, ha......I was kidding about the beer bottle, although I hope the gentleman or lady was escorted from the premises....

The Atlanta Falcons defense CANNOT stop New Orleans under any circumstances. Anybody going against Brees, Colston etc good luck.
hunjeebakala
man, the saints aren't going to win jack sh*t with that defense....
vikings are the faves in the nfc.

If you haven't noticed the Vikings Defense kind of sucks too, against the pass mainly.

I agree and I disagree and I agree you follow. I think the Saints offense is good enough to win in the playoffs regardless of the D. On the other hand the Saints D is good at forcing turnovers which is an important component. However they still give up big plays and a lot of points.

PT Cruisin'!!!
Patrick Bateman
Nice pick! He's got hops....
aab980
Despite that pick by Atlanta, I fully expect New Orleans to march up and down the field at will in the 2nd half.
rotoking07
Nice catch there by Henderson
Patrick Bateman
Bush at the goal line.....Ha, ha, ha.......Payton, the new Shanahan......

Hey, he's got a TD and should get around 100 yards....How about being a Mike Bell owner right now...

And, dagger......Pick six....Another win for NO....
elongoria12

I feel for ya. My opponent has Turner, White and Gonzalez. My 39 point lead has been whittled down to 16.
GoalineD
Im with you guys my 30 point lead is down to 7, because of pt cruiser and new orleans d (stupid matt ryan throwing that pick 6).
Patrick Bateman
Rowdy Roddy White making some fantasy owners happy....
z32tt_envy
Alright...Now Brees has reason to keep airing it out. Colston...4 more points.
