If i give up Nicks and Greene for Favre, would I be giving up too much? Nicks and Greene are on my bench, same with the other team who has Favre on bench and needs a RB next week. Favre will be my backup.

Interesting idea, but you're giving up two bench guys for one bench guy, which I don't think you can do.
