We all saw how bad Warner looked against the Panthers. The guy who owns Warner in my league has 2 players on a bye this week. So I'm thinking as soon as he has the bench spot available he'll handcuff Leinart for the stretch run.
With only 2 more teams with a bye week remaining, is this the time to jump on Leinart?

Depends on how deep the league is, but I'm considering the same thing in a couple leagues. If you own a Michael Bush or Donnie Avery type and will likely never play them, then I like the high reward aspect of picking up Leinart.

If you can spare the spot jump on him. Our league has a rule that we must start waiver pickups, if it wasn't for that i would pick him up in a heartbeat.

I had Cutler and Delhomme... I am NEVER going to start Delhomme over Cutler, so I dropped him and picked up Leinart this week. Why not? You know....

Aren't the cardinals in a playoff hunt? Warner struggled, but bench him, really? They went to the Superbowl last year.
I've had my eye on Leinart all year too, but is Warner's job really in jeopardy?

Warner has 1900+ yards thus far, with a 65% completion %, 11 TD/11 INT (almost half of which were last week), and his team is right in the thick of the playoff hunt.
Does anyone ACTUALLY think Leinart would be doing any better?

No way Warner gets benched, but it's not too far-fetched to think he could get hurt at some point. If you're comfortable with your depth otherwise, Leinart's definitely worth a bench spot.

Only way Warner gets benched is if he gets injured - Until then....those holding onto Leinart are wasting a roster spot.

I agree that I don't think he'll get benched. But an injury, or the fact that him not able to throw down feild is result of an injury (or hip surgery) is not out of the question at all.
