I know this is gonna be off the subject, not to mention sport, but Tom Hicks owner of the Manchester United signs 9 yr old to a pro contract.

It's not uncommon in Soccer. They sign about 40 nine year olds each year and decide to renew or not after one year. That way they can pay to lock up talent until they are ready.

we all know how the 45 million dollar minor league player is doing...now dont we! Igawa blows! Maybe during the off-season he can work on things and next year actually keep his spot
