I'm just not sure Delhomme will make it back as an effective QB with an elbow injury. I just don't believe he will be an effective thrower in the near future.

Is there anything new? I'm just about to pull the trigger and offload him in my league.

I am considering cutting my losses, too. He is my backup, and I am about to turn elsewhere.

I have Palmer as my #1 - Delhomme #2. Palmer is out next week on BYE. I'm getting nervous - I have to cut Delhomme I think and pick up someone - and it ain't gonna be Carr.

I like the way Harrington looks....???

I'd go with Harrington, he has looked good with the exception of week 1, which is completely understandable.

Jake is one of my QBs. I'm somewhat confident he'll be back. I've had him before and he is pretty good about injuries.

Still, I picked up Cpep as insurance.

I don't like the way S. Smith was ignored by carr. I'm lookin to trade him while he still has value the report that delhomey might need surgury scares the heck outta me.

From Rotoworld:

"NFL Network's Adam Shefter reports that Jake Delhomme's injury is more "week-to-week" or even "month-to-month" than the day-to-day outlook given by the team.
Surgery remains a possibility and Delhomme seems unlikely to play anytime soon. Shefter reports that it's contributing to a grim outlook around the Panthers, who may have their doubts about David Carr. It's certainly not good news for Steve Smith owners and Delhomme owners can consider cutting bait. Oct. 1 - 6:04 pm et"

Uggghh.. To the waiver wire I go. Here I was thinking I had a solid QB tandum this year. Bulger seriously makes me ill.

I got Grossman, Derek Anderson, McNair, and Warner as options. Who should I get? I believe Griese's there too, and I'd consider him because its against Detroit.

I want to say Warner but I have zero confidence in a QBBC, thats just crazy. Stash him he might actually get to start in a couple weeks.

I m in the same boat, I picked up Derek Anderson and Joey Harrington (sends shivers up my spine). Anderson is actually very highly ranked among QBs in my PPR league, but is facing New England next week. I m actually thinking about starting Joey against the Titans.

Grossman and McNair cant be started IMO, their offenses are just terrible.
